Van Wrapping
Your Vision, Our Precision
Stand Out, Stay Busy.
Your vans are working for your business every day. Sat in traffic, parked outside jobs, driving through town. People see them. The question is what they think when they do. A sharp, well fitted wrap says you are professional and established. A tired or peeling one says the opposite. We are Birmingham’s first dedicated wrapping studio with the largest team in the city. Ten craftsmen, four installation bays, over 40 years of combined experience. We handle full colour changes, vehicle graphics, fleet branding, signage, and printed livery. If your vans are representing your business, we make sure they do it properly.
Vibrant Finishes That Stay That Way. Our Prep Process Is Why.
Commercial vehicles live harder lives than private cars. Old signage adhesive, tar, industrial grime, and layers of polish build up over years of daily use. All of it has to come off completely or it will telegraph through the new film and undermine the finish your brand needs. Our prep team works through a strict cleaning sequence on every van. Adhesive cleaner to strip old residue. Non detergent soap wash. Clay bar treatment to pull embedded contaminants from the paint. Final wipe with surface preparation solution. We do this work in pairs, with each person going back over the other’s work before the next stage begins. That two person system is how we catch what solo prep misses. It is a standard part of every job, not an optional extra, and it is one of the main reasons business owners across the West Midlands trust us with their fleet branding.
Built to Last Motorway Miles, Not Just Look Good on the Day.
The difference between a wrap that holds and one that fails starts at the edges. Every panel needs to be wrapped so that the film tucks behind trim lines rather than folding over the top of them. That eliminates the stress points where film gets stretched over hardware and lifts first, and removes the visible join lines that make a wrap look like a patchwork rather than a colour change. Rear doors on panel vans are where this matters most. They have deep channels, complex hinge areas, and rubber seals that trap dirt. We clean and prep inside the door shuts and wrap the visible edges so there are no raw paint lines when the doors are open. Every edge is then post heated to between 93 and 107 degrees Celsius and primed on any stretch points, because vans spend hours at motorway speeds where flat sides and rear panels act like sails. Skip that step and the wrap lifts within weeks. We do not skip it. That discipline is what separates wraps that last years of daily commercial use from ones that start peeling after the first winter.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost for a van wrap?
A full van wrap in Birmingham typically falls between £2,000 and £4,500 depending on the size of the vehicle, the film you choose, and how much disassembly and branding work is involved. A standard Transit Custom in a gloss or matte finish sits at the lower end. Larger vans like Sprinters or Lutons, or premium finishes like chrome and colour shift, push the price higher. Printed vehicle graphics, signage, and custom branded livery are quoted individually based on design complexity. Get in touch for an accurate price based on your van and your requirements.
Is wrapping cheaper than a respray?
In most cases, yes. A quality respray on a medium sized car starts at around £3,000 to £4,000 and goes up quickly for custom colours. A wrap gives you a full colour change for less money, and it is completely reversible. When you want to change the look or sell the car, the wrap comes off and the original paint is still underneath in the condition it was in when we started.
Is it cheaper to wrap or paint a van?
In most cases wrapping is significantly cheaper than a quality respray, and it is completely reversible. A respray on a commercial van can easily run into the thousands and takes the vehicle off the road for longer. A wrap gives you a full colour change or branded finish for less money, protects the original paint underneath, and can be removed or updated when you rebrand without any lasting damage.
How long do van wraps last?
With proper installation and care, a quality vinyl wrap lasts between five and seven years. Edge priming, post heat setting, and thorough surface preparation are what determine longevity. We control all of those as standard. Daily commercial use, motorway driving, and UK weather are all factored into how we install every panel.
How long does a van wrap take?
A standard panel van wrap typically takes three to four days. Larger vans can take up to five days. That includes full disassembly, surface prep, wrapping, reassembly, and inspection. For fleet work we schedule vehicles to keep downtime to a minimum and get your vans back on the road earning.
Do I have to tell the DVLA if I wrap my van?
Yes. If the wrap changes the colour of your vehicle you need to update the colour on your V5C registration document with the DVLA. You should also let your insurance company know, as a colour change counts as a modification. Branded graphics applied over the original colour do not usually require a V5C update, but check with your insurer regardless.
Can you match the wrap to our company brand colours?
Yes. If you have a specific Pantone or RAL reference we will source the closest available match in vinyl film. For exact brand colour reproduction, digitally printed wraps and vehicle graphics give you a precise match along with logos, contact details, and any design elements you need.
Can you wrap a van that already has old signage on it?
Yes, but all old adhesive and residue must be completely removed first. We use adhesive cleaner solvents to strip previous graphics back to clean paint as part of our standard prep process. Any residue left behind will show through the new film and compromise adhesion. This is one of the most common issues we see on commercial vehicles and our process is built to handle it.
