Mercedes-Benz G63 4×4 Matt Trenton Blue Wrap in Birmingham

This Mercedes-Benz G63 4×4 came into our studio in Birmingham as a significant project. The owner wanted a full colour change wrap in Matt Trenton Blue, carbon wrapped extended arches, a carbon bonnet scoop, and the full Brabus Style treatment including a front LED light spoiler and rear spoiler. It was a wide brief and every element had to work together as a single, considered result.

Why Matt Trenton Blue Works on the G63 4×4

The G63 4×4 is a vehicle with real physical presence. The raised ride height, the squared body, the wide arches and the upright stance all demand a colour that can hold its own at scale. Matt Trenton Blue does that. It is a deep, cool blue that reads differently in different light. In bright sun it carries a richness to it. In overcast conditions it turns darker and more purposeful. On a vehicle this large and this angular, the matte finish also removes any unwanted visual weight that a gloss would add. The colour suits the proportions of the car and works particularly well against the carbon elements.

The Technical Work on This Build

A job like this involves more than wrapping bodywork. The extended arches on the G63 4×4 are prominent panels in their own right and carbon wrapping them required precision around every curve and edge. The bonnet scoop installation needed careful preparation before the surrounding bodywork could be finished cleanly in the Matt Trenton Blue film. The Brabus Style front LED light spoiler and the rear spoiler both required fitting and finishing so that each addition integrated with the overall wrap rather than sitting apart from it. Every component was treated individually and then assessed as part of the whole vehicle before the car left the studio.

Protection and Reversibility

The factory paintwork underneath the wrap remains untouched. The film provides a protective layer over the original finish, guarding against stone chips, road debris, and light surface abrasion. Should the owner ever want to return the car to its original colour or move to something different, the wrap can be removed cleanly without affecting what is beneath. That flexibility is part of why wrapping is a sound choice on a vehicle at this level of specification and value.

The Finished Build

The completed G63 4×4 is a vehicle that reads exactly as it should. Matt Trenton Blue, carbon arches, carbon bonnet scoop, Brabus Style front LED light spoiler and rear spoiler. Each element was chosen with intent and the result reflects that. It is a purposeful, cohesive build.
