The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 is one of only 63 cars ever produced. The owner brought it to us at Wrapart in Birmingham with a clear brief: a full race livery that reflected the car’s limited edition status and its connection to Lamborghini’s founding year. We designed and installed a geometric race wrap using yellow, matte black, and lime green, with the number 63 integrated into the bodywork as a deliberate reference to that heritage. Every panel was wrapped to follow the car’s lines, and the colour breaks were kept precise throughout.
Yellow, Matte Black and Lime Green Work Together on the SVJ 63 Because the Car’s Lines Do the Work
The Aventador SVJ 63 has aggressive, angular bodywork with hard creases and sharp transitions between surfaces. That geometry makes it well suited to a multi-colour livery because the body lines give you natural reference points for colour breaks. Yellow carries the dominant panels and reads clearly from a distance. Matte black grounds the livery and stops the design from becoming too loud. Lime green is used as an accent to connect the two and add contrast without overwhelming either. The three colours work because each one has a defined role and the bodywork gives each role a clear boundary.
The 63 Number Was Integrated Across the Bodywork as Part of the Design, Not Added Afterwards
The number 63 is not a decal placed on top of a finished wrap. It was planned into the livery from the start and treated as a structural element of the design. The positioning works with the geometry of the panels it sits on, and the sizing is proportional to the surrounding graphics. Sponsor-style graphics were kept clean with hard edges and consistent line weights. On a car with this level of visual complexity in its body surfaces, any graphic that is not precisely placed will look wrong. We took the time to get the placement right before we committed anything to the panels.
Wrapping Each Panel to Follow the SVJ 63’s Geometry Required Careful Material Management
The Aventador SVJ 63 is not a simple car to wrap. The surfaces are compound, the angles are extreme, and the transitions between panels are tight. A race livery with geometric shapes and defined colour boundaries makes the technical demands harder still, because any stretch or misalignment in the vinyl is immediately visible at a colour break. We worked panel by panel, managing the material carefully to avoid distortion, and tucked edges where the design required it to keep joins clean. The factory paint underneath was not touched at any point.
The Wrap Protects the Original Paint and Can Be Removed Without Affecting the Finish
On a car like this, protecting the original paintwork matters. The wrap sits over the factory finish and shields it from stone chips, light abrasion, and UV exposure. If the owner decides at any point to remove the livery and return the car to its original colour, the wrap can come off cleanly. The paint underneath will be in the same condition it was in when the car arrived with us. That is a significant benefit on a limited edition car where the factory finish has real value.
