When this Lamborghini Huracán STO arrived at our studio in Birmingham, the owner had a clear vision. They wanted to reference the iconic factory STO launch livery, which combines Blu Laufey with Arancio California orange accents, without touching the original paintwork underneath. It was a project that required precision and a good understanding of what makes the STO look the way it does.
Arancio California Inspired Accents
The STO is a car where every body panel serves a purpose. The splitter, side skirts, and rear wing are not decorative — they are functional aero components, and that made the placement of the orange accents straightforward in terms of intent. By following the natural lines of those elements, the accents sit exactly where they should, creating a sharp contrast against the deep Blu Laufey paint and the raw carbon fibre trim throughout the car.
The result references the factory livery closely enough to feel authentic while still being a bespoke finish unique to this particular car.
Full Body Self-Healing PPF
Once the styling work was complete, we moved on to protecting it. A full body application of self-healing Paint Protection Film was installed across every panel, covering both the original paint and the custom orange accents underneath a single optically clear layer. For a car driven the way an STO is meant to be driven, that level of protection is not optional.
Stone chips and road debris are a constant risk at speed, and PPF ensures the finish stays exactly as it left our studio. It also makes a meaningful difference to long-term resale value, which matters on a vehicle of this significance.
