Why Burnt Orange Works on the Emeya
Burnt orange sits in a particular place in the colour spectrum. It is rich without being aggressive, and distinctive without being difficult to live with. On the Emeya’s flowing surfaces and pronounced aero lines, the matte finish removes any harshness and lets the bodywork do its work. The colour shifts as light conditions change throughout the day, which means the car reads differently in morning light than it does at dusk. That quality suits a car with this much character.
A Colour the Factory Does Not Offer
Lotus offers a strong range of colours on the Emeya, but burnt orange matte is not one of them. That is the point. The owner wanted something that reflected their own taste rather than a configurator option shared with thousands of other buyers. If the owner ever decides to change the colour or return the car to standard, the wrap comes off cleanly with the factory finish preserved underneath.
